Geboren am 14. Januar 1964 in Frankenthal/Pfalz. Aufgewachsen in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Stadtteil Oppau; Sternzeichen Steinbock, Aszendent Bär.
1966 entsteht das erste selbstgemalte Feuerwehr-auto im Kindergarten Oberlinhaus in Oppau. Ab 1971 nach Beatle (1968) und Astronaut (1969) nun endlich Berufswunsch Maler. Zeichnen wird zur ersten großen Leidenschaft, ein erstes Comicheft entsteht in einem umfunktionierten Schulheft.
1974 entdeckt er bei der Ausgrabung eines Katzenskeletts im Garten des benachbarten Freundes die zweite große Leidenschaft: Archäologie; bald darauf dann auch die dritte: Wellensittiche, dank eines Asylbewerbers dieser Art.
1986-1990 Studium der Kunstgeschichte mit den Nebenfächern Klassische Archäologie und Soziologie in Marburg, wo er in eine Ausstellung der "Neuen Frankfurter Schule" gerät und in heftigen Kontakt mit Uli Steins Mäusen und Peter Gaymanns Hühnern kommt.
1991 Studienbeginn Grafik-Design in Mannheim.
Als Cartoonist und Illustrator tätig, illustriert u.a. Cartoonbücher, Bücher, Kalender, Rubbellose, u.v.m.
